5 Ways to Change the Language on Your Computer

English is known as International language. Almost all PC users do like to keep English as their primary language on their PCs. However, there comes a time when some people want to change their PCs language to their own native language. Well, you actually can do this. Yes, if you are using a Windows PC or Laptop and want to change the language from English to other or from other to English, we have enlisted all the possible ways of changing the language of PC. 5 Ways to Change the Language on Your Computer

1. Change Language in Windows

Step 1 :

Click on to Start button and hit the Control Panel option from the right side bar of your start menu.

Step 2 :

Now, search for Clock, Language and Region option, after getting it, click on to it. Right click on to Region option.

Step 3 :

You would be presented a whole new window from which you need to click on to the Keyboards and Languages option.

Step 4 :

Navigate your cursor to Display Language and a drop down menu will be presented over there. You would be allowed to choose the current language which you want.

Step 5 :

And then click on to the Ok button. You’re done! You have successfully changed the current language on your PC. Now, you can only access the PC with the selected language only.

Now, what if you are using a Chromebook? The above tutorial was only available for Windows users. If you are using a Chromebook and want to change the current language here’s the tutorial about it.

2. Change the Language on Chromebook

Step 1 :

Sign into your Chromebook by entering your Google username and password.

Step 2 :

Click on to your Account picture located in the lower corner of your Chromebook window.

Step 3 :

Click on to Settings option and then Advanced Settings.

Step 4 :

Select Customize Languages and input which is located under the Language menu.

Step 5 :

From the given menu, you can select the language which you want to explore from your Chromebook.

Step 6 :

After selecting it, sign out from your account and sign in back. See, everything’s changed. You could see the current language on your Chromebook has completely change.

3. Change Language on Mac OS X

Step 1 :

Open System Preferences of your Mac OS X. You could find it on your dock easily. Just move your cursor to the bottom side of your Mac system and you would see this option.

Step 2 :

Select Language and Text and then click on to the Language tab.

Step 3 :

Here’s a different thing you need to do. To change the language, you need select the language from the list and drag it out to the main menu. This is simple yet it needs your perfect move. You’re done!

By now, go to your main menu and select restart button. After restarting the system, you could see that the current language of your Mac system has totally been changed.

4. Change Language on Google Chrome

Step 1 :

Click on to the Settings icon which is located at the extreme right corner of your Chrome Window.

Step 2 :

Scroll down and you would see Show Advanced Settings option. You need to select that option.

Step 3 :

Select Language and Input settings from the Windows.

Step 4 :

Select your language on which you want to access the PC and drag it out to the main Language box.

Step 5 :

Close down the currently opened Window. You’re done! To get the changes right away, close down your Google Chrome and reopen it once again. You would see that the language has been changed on your Google Chrome bowser.

5. Change Language of your Google Accounts

Step 1 :

Since we are working on Google, open Google Chrome browser on your PC and start a new session by signing into your Google account. Go to www.Google.com and sing in there with your username and password.

Step 2 :

Hover over to settings page of your Google Account. You could select the button settings under your displayed photo or go to the following link.

Step 3 :

Select Primary language option and click on to Edit button.

Step  4:

Select the language from the list that you want displayed in Google for your Google account. Select the done process by hitting on to the X button at the upper right corner.

You’re done! You have successfully changed the language of your current Google account. By now, you could explore anything within this account with your selected languages.
